Amped Up Truck Electrical & Air Pty Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Automotive Electrician to join our team in Wacol, Queensland. As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining the electrical systems of a variety of commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers and heavy machinery.

What you'll be doing
n
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues on trucks, trailers and heavy machinery
n
Repair and replace electrical components, such as batteries, alternators, wiring harnesses and electrical control units
n
Perform scheduled maintenance on vehicle electrical systems to prevent future breakdowns
n
Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
n
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the efficient operation of the workshop
n
What we're looking for
n




Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent trade qualification
n
Solid knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control modules
n
Air conditioning and refrigeration licence preferred but not essential
n
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve electrical faults
n
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
n
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
n
A valid driver's licence as this is a field service position
n
