In your new role, you'll be joining a friendly and supportive team with robust leadership, focused on safety and excellence in all that they do.

From a day to day perspective, you'd be undertaking the following:
n
n
Unload and load transportation vehicles/ carrier/ shipping containers
n
Receive, check, and pack stock/ sales orders for outbound transit/ delivery (with a focus on minimising part damage and freight costs)
n
Assist with inventory cycle counts and/ or stocktakes
n
Planning and completing stock movements to maximise warehouse storage
n
Maintain records and undertake reporting as well as operation of a warehouse freight management system
n
Undertaking a wide range of warehouse maintenance duties
n
Focusing on safety in all that you do
n

Requirements
n
To be successful, your experience and background would look something like:
n
n




MHE - Current valid Work Safety Forklift Driver and Stock Picker License
n
Recent Storeperson employment experience in a warehousing and distribution environment (desirable, with a particular focus on handling service parts)
n
Sound knowledge of warehousing and distribution practices
n
Basic understanding of service parts. That is, a basic level of mechanical knowledge (desirable)
n
Experience safely using basic hand and power tools
n
Experience using an RF scanner equipment
n
Capable of undertaking manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending, etc
n
Proven organisational skills and attention to detail
n
Well developed conceptual and practical problem solving skill
n
Great communication and interpersonal skills
n
Proven ability to complete tasks safely and in accordance with OHS, COR relevant laws, policy and procedures
n
Intermediate computing skills, including warehouse management system preferably SAP experience (WMS) (desirable)
n
