About the role
n
The CSSD Technician is responsible for the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment across the CSSD and Endoscopy departments.
n
This is a full time position and the Sterilising Certificate is an advantage.
n
Your main duties will include:
n
n
Process instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control standards and guidelines
n
Undertake testing of equipment as required and promptly elevate any identified anomalies to the appropriate facility authority
n
Undertake functions according to the GESA & GENCA, HICMR and AS****:**** current standards
n

About the Candidate

Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or willingness to attain
n
Effective communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment
n
Commitment to continuing professional development
n
Commitment to enhancement of Calvary Healthcare's Mission & Values
n
Previous experience in CSSD and or Endoscopy services
n
Understanding of current Australian Standard AS****:****
