Job Description
Vehicle Body Builder role involving manufacturing and repairing truck bodies and trailers using metal, fiberglass and other materials, and assembling components to create finished vehicles.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Manufacturing truck bodies using metal, fiberglass and other materials using welding equipment, guillotine and other hand tools
n
Riveting and welding sections together to form truck bodies and parts necessary
n
Installing parts in the internal of trucks such as switches and dash lights
n
Attaching toolboxes and wheel lifts to the subframe of trucks
n
Repair damages to metal using welding equipment
n
Interpret engineered drawings to manufacture steel bodies
n
Grinding of steel to clean up welds
n
Installing rubber seals, locks and handles on toolboxes
n
n
About you
n
n
Minimum 3 years' experience as a welder
n
Experience in the operation of MIG, Oxy, Plasma cutter, hand and power tools
n
Qualified welder/boiler maker would be advantageous but not necessary
n
Valuable work ethic
