An opportunity has become available for a Registered Nurse (Mental Health - Melaleuca Inpatient Unit) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will
n
n
Provide adept clinical practice, and take leadership roles when required
n
Readily engage with staff to promote quality projects, and upkeep a ward culture of quality and service improvement
n
Utilise clinical skills commensurate to the individual level of experience and specific to the inpatient Specialty
n
Liaise with consumers and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers as required to ensure quality service delivery
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this position you will require:
n
n
A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
n
Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
n
Be credentialed through the College of Mental Health Nurses (or be prepared to work towards a credential in Mental Health Nursing)
n
A postgraduate qualification within a relevant specialty will be highly regarded
n
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
n
Tuberculosis screening,



to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $87,790 - $112,607 per annum or $***** - $***** per hour
