About the Role
n
With a strong pipeline of newly awarded projects across Queensland, BMD is seeking an Environmental Coordinator who is open to both Townsville based work or FIFO/DIDO-based projects across Queensland. Reporting to the Environmental Manager, the Environmental Coordinator will support project teams in the implementation and ongoing management of BMD's environmental systems and site-specific environmental management plans.

Key Responsibilities

Support compliance with regulatory and project-specific requirements
n
Implement and maintain Construction Environmental Management Plans
n
Conduct site inspections,



audits and environmental monitoring
n
Assist with incident investigation and environmental reporting
n
Support approvals documentation and stakeholder liaison
n
Deliver toolbox talks and environmental training on site
n
n
Skills and Experience
n
n
Degree qualified in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar
n
4-7 years post-graduate experience in a site-based construction setting
n
Strong understanding of environmental compliance on civil projects
n
Confident communicator able to engage with site teams and stakeholders
n
Open to regional FIFO work when required
n
