Alpine Hotel Bright, part of the Jacob Group is currently recruiting for qualified and experienced Chefs/Cooks to join their team in Bright VIC. Successful candidates will need to:
n
n
Develop menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
n
Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
n
Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
n
Resolve customer problems and concerns.
n
Monitor and record inventory, as well as food and kitchen staff costs, and if necessary, order new supplies.
n
Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
n




Train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
n
Help create schedules for kitchen employees and report to management on their performance.
n
Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations.
n
n
Skills & Attributes:
n
n
Must have 3 years' experience as a Chef/Cook
n
Diploma in Commercial Cookery or related Qualification
n
OH&S; awareness
n
Food Handling and RSA certificates required
n
n
Salary range is $70,000 – $85,000pa plus super Full time Positions available Application opens on 11th of August **** and closes on 11th of September ****.
