In addition to our renowned specialised sourdough breads; we create and produce sweet and savoury pastries, sandwiches, cakes and many other delicious hand crafted goods.

Q Le Baker is seeking an enthusiastic Baker to join our growing team! We offer a supportive and positive working environment with a excellent team and is ideally suited for someone looking to building a long term career in baking.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years baking experience.
n
Permanent residency status is required for this position.
n
Commercial bakery experience is essential for this role.
n
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team specifically working ovens, baking and mixing our premium doughs. Full time hours available for the suitable candidate.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Working collaboratively with Bakery team to achieve efficient production and quality targets
n
Operating ovens and production equipment as required
n




Confident baking of breads and other baked products
n
Prepare, weigh, mix and produce doughs according to established proceduresHand-shaping and handling of artisanal doughs
n
Maintaining a safe workplace and responsible operation of equipment
n
Ensure consistency, efficiency and quality across all goods.

About You
n
n
At least 3 years professional experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen or similar environment
n
Good technical understanding of baking and pastry
n
Experience working with sourdough
n
Understanding of the basics of fermentation, mixing, proofing and baking
n
Organised and able to work to production schedules
n
Strong attention to detail and consistency
n
Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a team
n
Takes pride in their work and cares about quality
n
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
Reliable and comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
