We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and proactive Patient Services Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this important support role, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing assistance to nursing and clinical staff while ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

This Casual positions offers flexibility with work hours and days. Availability to work AM and PM shift rosters will be required for all casual staff.

The Position
n
n
Assist with the safe transport of patients and equipment throughout the hospital/facility.
n
Support patient meal services, including meal distribution, collection of trays, and assisting patients with meals when required.
n
Prepare and maintain patient rooms, including stripping, sanitising, and remaking beds following discharge.
n
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control within ward and patient care areas.
n
Remove waste and soiled linen in accordance with health and safety procedures.
n
Clean and maintain clinical equipment, ward facilities, kitchens, and common areas.
n
Monitor and replenish stock, supplies, oxygen cylinders, and equipment as required.
n
Work collaboratively with nursing and clinical teams to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

We can offer you

Salary: $***** to $***** per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation
n
