We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar and Battery Electrician to join our growing installation team.

This is a full-time position completing residential solar and battery installations across Queensland, with projects ranging from Hervey Baythrough to Mackay.

The role offers an excellent 7 days on, 7 days off roster, providing a strong work-life balance while earning a highly competitive salary of $160,000 per year.

You will work as part of a professional installation team delivering high-quality solar, battery storage and associated electrical work while maintaining excellent safety and workmanship standards.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Install residential and commercial solar PV systems.
n
Install and commission battery storage systems.
n
Complete switchboard upgrades and associated electrical work.
n
Install inverters, isolators, cabling, monitoring equipment and system components.
n
Test, commission and troubleshoot solar and battery systems.
n
Complete installation documentation, compliance paperwork and job reports.
n
Identify and resolve electrical and system faults.
n
Ensure all installations meet relevant Australian Standards,



electrical regulations and manufacturer requirements.
n
Maintain high standards of workmanship, presentation and customer service.
n
Work safely and efficiently while travelling between project locations.
n
Support other members of the installation team when required.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
A current Queensland electrical licence.
n
Current solar and battery installation accreditation.
n
Previous experience installing solar PV and battery storage systems.
n
Strong knowledge of electrical safety, testing and commissioning requirements.
n
Experience with switchboard upgrades and electrical fault-finding.
n
A current Australian driver's licence.
n
Construction White Card.
n
Current CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certification.
n
Working at Heights certification.
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
n
Good communication and customer service skills.
n
The ability to travel and work throughout the Hervey bay -to-Mackay region.
n
n
Experience with a variety of inverter and battery brands will be highly regarded.
n
