The FRUIT is located within the trendy fine food emporium of The Standard Market Company, a family-owned retail company specialising in gourmet food. You will joining an energetic and hardworking team.

We are currently seeking a Casual Produce Assistant to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team on James Street, Fortitude Valley, working with high-quality fresh fruit and veg! If you're eager to learn and ready to jump into a new role, we want to hear from you.

About this role:
n
n
Store set up; merchandising; fruit displays; packing and wrapping of products
n
Cutting and preparing fruit and vegetables for display
n
Weekend and weekday availability essential, must be available for 5AM start times
n
30+ hours available for the right candidate
n
n
To be successful in this position,



you must meet the following criteria:
n
n
Previous experience working with Fruit and Veg (highly regarded)
n
Must be physically fit, as the role requires you to be able to lift, carry, display and store produce.
n
Good eye for detail and greatknowledge of fresh produce, seasons and products
n
Team player with good communication skills
n
Reliable and hard working
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
n
Superior customer service skills and register experience preferable
n
Reliable transport to Fortitude Valley
n
