You will be working as an employee within our facility, on set hours each week, with potential to grow within our company.

The role:
n
In this dynamic front-of-house role, you'll greet members with energy and warmth, delivering standout service from the moment they walk through our doors. This is a diverse role that will have you switching from answering calls, to making protein smoothies, to conducting gym tours and membership sales - you'll keep things running smoothly and make everyone feel right at home.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
Greet everyone & serve customers at both the front desk & café.
n
Answering calls, handling queries & member concerns, directing the member to the relevant manager if necessary.
n
Actively contribute to achieving KPIs by implementing effective sales promotions and referral campaigns.
n
Generate and convert sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals and identifying new business opportunities.
n
Create exceptional member experiences through positive and personalized interactions.
n
Engage in member retention programs to encourage and support members in their fitness journey.
n
Conduct regular check ins to both new and current members to maintain their commitment to their fitness journey.
n




Assist and create engaging social media content using Canva and video editing tools to drive brand awareness and audience engagement across digital platforms.
n
Maintain facility cleanliness ensuring the gym floor, cafe and reception areas are always neat & tidy.
n
Perform opening & closing duties in a timely manner.
n
Follow directions, prioritise & complete tasks in a timely manner.
n
Utilise the computer & our various software systems to look up member details, create access key tags, process purchases & assist members with booking classes
n
Be actively involved in Hydra Gym's community by attending social and community events, and staff get togethers.
n
To start you will require:
n
Availability to start ASAP.
n
Weekday availability and must be able to work Saturdays.
n
Previous customer service/sales experience with excellent communication skills.
n
Previous barista/cafe all-rounder experience (ideal, but not required).
n
A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and a strong drive to grow.
n
A passion for health & fitness & eagerness to work for the industry.
n
Bring a strong work ethic, show initiative, and thrive as a motivated, adaptable team player who can multitask with ease.
n
Computer literacy & ability to learn current systems.
n
Uphold policies and procedures of Hydra Gym to members, customers and staff.
n
Hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain)
n
Have Australian working rights.
n
