About the Role

As a result of continued growth, Sydney Tools is seeking a Power Tool Repairer to join our team in Smithfield.
n
We are looking for a hands-on technician with an electrical or mechanical background who thrives in a fast-paced workplace. In this role, you will repair a range of leading brands including Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, DeWalt, Hitachi, Yamaha, and Chicago, while liaising with both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Liaise with internal and external customers
n
Maintain stock of parts
n
Diagnose and repair cordless, electric, and hydraulic power tools and equipment
n
Disassemble tools and use testing devices to identify faults
n
Interpret technical manuals to determine required replacement parts and reassemble tools according to manufacturer guidelines
n
Repair defective mechanical components and rewire electrical systems, including soldering and insulating wiring
n
Use computer systems to manage job tracking and reporting
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
n
Demonstrated experience in power tool repair or small petrol engine repair
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
n
Ability to meet deadlines and work to timelines
n
Adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities
n
Competent computer skills
n
