The Role
n
Join a growing Melbourne-based team delivering accurate and timely payroll services to a portfolio of clients. Working across multiple payroll cycles and requirements, you'll combine strong attention to detail with a proactive client-focused approach, ensuring payroll processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
n
n
Process payroll across for - purpose clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery across varying pay frequencies.
n
Apply relevant payroll legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements to support compliance.
n
Manage employee payroll changes, including leave, superannuation, allowances, and termination payments.
n
Complete payroll reconciliations and assist with periodic reporting and year-end requirements.
n
Respond to payroll enquiries and build strong client relationships through high-quality service.
n
Monitor payroll data, investigate discrepancies, and elevate issues where required.
n
Maintain accurate payroll records and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
n
n
About You
n
You are a detail-oriented payroll professional who takes pride in delivering accurate, reliable outcomes. You enjoy working with complex information, meeting deadlines, and providing qualified support to clients and stakeholders.
n

Required Skills and Proficiencies
n
n
Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or equivalent payroll/administration experience.
n
Sound understanding of payroll processes and willingness to develop knowledge of payroll legislation and award interpretation.
n
Experience within the not-for-profit sector and SCHADS Award knowledge will be highly regarded.
n
Experience using payroll or accounting software such as KeyPay, Xero Payroll, or similar.
n
Strong attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach.
n
Excellent communication skills and a professional client-focused manner.
n
Ability to work collaboratively while taking initiative when required.
n
