The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team following continued growth and the recent departure of an existing Estimator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with approximately 2–3 years' experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a stable construction business.
n
You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates, working closely with internal stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are priced effectively and commercially.
n Experience in FRP (Formwork, Reinforcement & Precast) would be highly regarded, however, candidates with strong general estimating experience are encouraged to apply.
n Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates
n
Review plans, specifications and project documentation
n
Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing
n
Complete quantity take-offs and cost analysis
n
Identify project risks, opportunities and potential cost savings
n
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
n
Assist with tender preparation and submissions
n
Maintain accurate estimating documentation and cost information
n

About You
n
We are looking for an Estimator who is commercially minded, detail-oriented and keen to continue developing their career within the construction industry.
n Ideally, you will bring:
n
n
2–3 years' experience in a construction estimating role
n
Strong understanding of construction processes, costs and methodologies
n
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and documentation
n
Experience preparing estimates and reviewing subcontractor/supplier pricing
n
Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
n
FRP experience will be highly regarded
n
n
