Job Description
This is a leadership position based in Broken Hill that focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care through advanced clinical practice, staff supervision, and compliance with aged care standards.

Assist the Residential Manager in overseeing daily operations of the care home.
n
Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing and care staff.
n
Ensure care is delivered in line with residents' goals, preferences and assessed needs.
n
Oversee care planning, assessments, case conferences, and AN-ACC documentation.
n
Ensure compliance with relevant aged care legislation, regulations, and best practices.
n
Liaise with GPs and allied health professionals to ensure holistic care delivery.
n
Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of staff.
n
Drive continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in the clinical setting.
n

What You'll Bring Essential:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in aged care.
n




Solid understanding of clinical governance and aged care standards.
n
Proven ability to lead, mentor and support a multi-disciplinary team.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Well-developed skills in time management, prioritisation, and decision‐making.
n
Computer literacy and proficiency in clinical documentation systems
n
Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an NDIS Worker Screening Check (or a current AFP check with an active NDIS application).
n
Full working rights in Australia.
