The Opportunity

We're seeking a full time Sales Specialist – Projects to bring the three pillars of our Projects business together in one role — sales, procurement & solutions, and logistics & order management. Reporting to the Projects Manager, you'll own the project from the first enquiry to the final delivery: quoting and winning the work, sourcing and solving the material supply, and managing the order and logistics all the way through. It's a rare end-to-end role for someone who loves being across the whole job — the single point of contact who makes the complex simple for our customers and our internal teams.

What We're Looking For
n
You'll ideally bring experience across stainless steel, metals or industrial supply — in sales, procurement, project coordination or supply chain — but it's the breadth of thinking that matters most here, and we'll invest in training the product knowledge. This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys wearing a few hats and connecting the dots between selling, buying and delivering.

What we're really after is an owner. Someone commercially sharp enough to quote and negotiate well, resourceful enough to package a supply solution from stock or indent, and organised enough to manage the order and logistics through to a clean delivery — without dropping the ball between those stages. You'll be the thread that runs through the whole project, so strong communication and follow-through are everything: keeping customers informed, coordinating with sales, warehouse and logistics teams, and taking real ownership when things need solving. If full end-to-end service is what you love about the work, this is a role built for you — with genuine room to grow in a national business.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Sales & Winning the Work
n

Build competitive, complete quotations for project enquiries and negotiate to add value for both the customer and the business
n
Develop and manage project accounts and relationships, converting enquiries into won work
n
Be a trusted point of contact and a representative of the Stirlings brand and values throughout the project
n

Procurement & Solutions
n
n
Source and package the material supply from stock, domestic suppliers and overseas indent to solve the customer's requirement
n
Work up commercial solutions and project & indent offerings, balancing price, lead time and availability
n
Raise and manage purchase orders and supplier relationships to secure the right material on the right terms
n
n
Logistics & Order Management
n
n
Manage each order end-to-end — coordinating processing, freight and delivery so material arrives complete and on time
n
Track orders and shipments in progress, flag risks early, and keep customers and internal teams informed
n
Oversee the full order process to ensure fulfilment, accuracy and customer satisfaction
n
