As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of industrial compressed air equipment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems and dealing directly with customers.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Service, maintain, repair and inspect compressors and related compressed air equipment
n
Attend customer sites to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
n
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
n
Conduct functionality and operational testing
n
Install compressors, refrigerated dryers and associated equipment
n
Install and modify compressed air pipework
n
Complete mechanical fitting and assembly work
n
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
n
Complete service documentation and reports accurately
n
Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment condition and required works
n
n
About you
n
n
Mechanical, fitting, plumbing, electrical or related trade experience
n
A recognized trade qualification or strong hands-on mechanical experience
n
Experience with compressors,



compressed air equipment or industrial machinery is highly desirable
n
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Positive understanding of preventative maintenance
n
Ability to read and understand technical information
n
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
n
Strong communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to travel to customer sites on a daily basis
n
