About the Role Senior Associate – Corporate M&A; & Capital Markets (Band 1) – Brisbane Work in a cooperative, high‑performing environment advising on the most complex and largest transactions in energy, resources, and critical minerals.
Responsibilities include supporting M&A;, joint ventures, critical minerals transactions, private and public M&A; across the broader resources and energy sectors, project development and operations, and advising on contracts and regulatory arrangements.
Qualifications & Experience - Experience at a leading top tier, national or international firm or with a specialist energy and resources practice, with demonstrated experience in energy and resources transactions.
Experience advising on oil and gas M&A; and/or joint ventures is highly regarded.
Strong generalist corporate M&A; capability across public and private transactions.
Ability to manage matters and lead junior team members.
Willingness to participate in business development activities and build a profile in the resources sector.
Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to build lasting client relationships.
Desire to grow as both a lawyer and a leader.
