The opportunity
Join a well-known global mining OEM in their Sydney branch.
You'll work within a small stores team while supporting the wider workshop and branch.
Casual rates up to $42ph + super
Monday-Friday dayshift only roster with occasional overtime available
Initial 6-month contract with good potential for extension or a permanent role
Work alongside three other experienced warehousing and stores team members
Join a close-knit branch of around 25 staff with a long-standing management team

The role
Working alongside three other Storepersons, you'll support the day-to-day movement, storage and dispatch of parts and equipment.
Your duties will include:
Picking, packing, receiving and dispatching orders
Forklift operation and movement of parts and stock
Updating inventory systems and assisting with stock control
Organising incoming and outgoing freight
General warehouse duties and keeping the stores area organised
Your background
You'll ideally have previous experience as a Storeperson, Warehouse Operator or Parts Storeperson.
Mining experience isn't essential, with backgrounds across mechanical, automotive or other heavy industries also well suited.
Current forklift ticket - essential
Current driver's licence
Previous warehousing, stores or parts experience
Good computer skills and confidence using inventory systems
Strong attitude towards safety, teamwork and organisation
