We are seeking an experienced P&ID; Drafter to join our Drawing Office on a permanent, staff basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled drafter with a solid background in minerals processing to contribute to the design and delivery of major projects across gold, copper, and nickel operations.
Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, you will play a key role in producing accurate, high-quality P&IDs; to support our engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
About the Role
Develop, revise, and maintain Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;) in line with project and client standards
Work closely with process, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency
Manage drawing revisions, redlines, and document control processes
Support multi-discipline coordination across EPCM/EPC project deliverables
Ensure all drafting output complies with company and industry drafting standards
About You
Minimum 5 years' experience as a P&ID; Drafter within an EPCM or EPC setting
Proven experience within the minerals processing sector, ideally across gold, copper, and/or nickel operations
Proficiency in Autodesk software, including Plant 3D
Strong understanding of P&ID; conventions, piping specifications, and instrumentation symbology
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple drawings and revisions under project deadlines
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary drawing office
