Job Description
As our highly valuedProduct Manager – Home Lending, your role will manage and improve our home lending products across their lifecycle, with a particular focus onAustralian Government 5% Deposit Scheme.
Supporting our purpose of helping every Australian own their own home,you'lluse customer,marketand performance insights to shape product priorities and bring together teams across the Bank to deliversimple,competitiveandsustainable home lending propositions.You'llalso lead Great Southern Bank's product relationship with Housing Australia for the Scheme.
You'llmake an impact by:
Managing and evolving home lending products across their lifecycle, balancing customer needs,commercialoutcomesandproduct obligations
Leading the end-to-end product requirements for the Australian Government 5% Deposit Scheme, including eligibility settings, reporting, data submissions, guarantee placemanagement,controlsandremediation
Acting as a product subject matter expert, providing guidance on Scheme eligibility, product rules,policyinterpretationandoperational requirements
Using customer,market,competitorandperformance insightstoidentifyopportunitiesto improve growth, retention,customerexperienceandportfolio outcomes
Monitoring product performance, risksandemergingopportunitiesand translating insights and policy changes into clear priorities and business requirements
Maintaining product roadmaps and backlogs and coordinating delivery across Distribution, Operations, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Data and Technology
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including Housing Australia
Supporting strong product governance through compliance reviews, audits, assurance activities, issuemanagementand regulatory reporting




Maintaining product documentation, procedures,controls,guidanceandtraining materials to support consistent and compliant delivery.

With a particular focus on the Australian Government 5% Deposit Scheme,you'llhelp ensure our proposition continues to support customers on their journey towards home ownership while delivering sustainable outcomes for the Bank.
To succeed in this role,you'llhave:
Experience in product management, business analysis, product operations or scheme administration within home lending or financial services
The ability to translate external rules and policy changes into product requirements, customer journeys,processes,controlsanddelivery priorities
Strong analytical and delivery capability across reporting, data quality, backlogs,testing,assuranceandissue remediation
Solid stakeholder management skills and the ability to bring cross-functional teams together to deliver practical outcomes
A customer-led and commercially minded approach, with the ability to balance customer needs,productobligationsandsustainable portfolio outcomes




Strong attention to detail and ownership, particularly across eligibility requirements,reporting,controlsandsupporting evidence
The ability to adapt to changing policy, Scheme requirements, customerdemandand business priorities
A tertiary qualification in business, finance, economics,productmanagementora related discipline is desirable
Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or agile delivery professional will be highly regarded.
