We are seeking experienced manufacturing machine operators to join a busy manufacturing facility based in Crestmead, working within a production team responsible for the manufacture and packaging of specialist cable products.

These are temp-to-perm opportunities with a well-established manufacturer offering ongoing training, career progression and stable employment for reliable operators with previous manufacturing experience.

Requirements for this position
Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing setting
Current Forklift Licence (mandatory)
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn detailed manufacturing processes
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
Ability to work within a rapid-paced production environment
Physically fit and capable of regularly lifting 20kg+
Robust understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
Driver's licence and reliable transport
Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
Cable manufacturing experience highly regarded but not essential





Tasks involved in this role
Machine setup, operation and shutdown
Operating multiple production machines throughout the manufacturing process
Monitoring product quality and maintaining production accuracy
Packing finished products for quality assurance testing
Working closely with the production team to achieve daily targets
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Following all safety, quality and operational procedures
Assisting with general factory and production duties as required

Pay details and conditions
Day Shift: $33.00/hr
Afternoon/Night Shift: $46.20/hr
38-hour week worked across 4 days (Fridays off)
Weekly rotating roster – one week days, one week nights
Overtime paid for any hours worked outside rostered shifts
Training provided
Long-term temp-to-perm opportunity
