Mungalli Creek Dairy is a family-owned paddock to shelf producer of award-winning Biodynamic (organic) and premium dairy products.

As a Biodynamic farm business, we are focused on producing the best dairy products for our community whilst looking after the land for future generations.

We produce a delicious range of organic and lactose‐free yoghurts to complement our well know range of milks, yoghurts, cheese and ice‐cream.

Our on farm manufacturing site is located at Mungalli on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands.

About the role
n
As the Production Worker you will work across Milk, Yoghurt, Cheese and Ice‐cream learning both packing and machine operation.
n
Hours are weekdays, ***** hours per week usually over 4 days with opportunities for additional hours for the right canditate.
n
Opportunities to advance and grow with the business and further your career in Dairy after you have gained core skills. Areas include product make, blow moulding and/or pasteurisation. Flexibility and adaptability and a can‐do attitude are key.
n
You must be physically fit (able to lift crates of 18kg and twist and bend with ease) and healthy with a positive can‐do attitude; and a great team player that is able to maintain very high standards of food production and workplace hygiene.

This is a great opportunity for a locally based person to grow their food manufacturing knowledge.

Role Responsibilities:
n
n
Follow GMP & production procedures
n
Cleaning and sanitation / CIP of all equipment, work area,



cheese cloths and benches following WHS and food handling requirements and in line with company Safe Food Program and SWP.
n
Make our Quark, Ricotta and Greek Yoghurt weekly
n
Learn to pack and make our milk, yoghurt, cheese and ice‐cream.
n
Assist with in‐line sampling and testing throughout the make process.
n
Completing all make sheets and documentation, checks thoroughly and accurately.
n
Monitoring of CCP's for any irregularities and notifying supervisor.
n

Skills and experience
n

Physically fit, strong and a good work ethic

Enjoy contributing to and working in a team setting

High standard of workplace hygiene
n
Accurately follow systems and procedures
n
Prior experience in a Dairy Manufacturing environment.
n
Prior experience within a Food production
n
Experience with food hygiene
n
Prior experience in cheese and yoghurt manufacture although not essential, would be well regarded. Training will be provided.
n
