About the opportunity
n
Join Bolton Clarke in a newly created role supporting the organisation's public advocacy, government relations and policy agenda. You'll work closely with senior leaders to monitor policy and regulatory change, develop high-quality advocacy materials, coordinate external engagement and help position Bolton Clarke as a trusted voice across aged care, healthcare and social services.

Key activities
n
n
Support public policy, advocacy and external relations strategies aligned to organisational priorities.
n
Monitor political, regulatory and sector developments impacting aged care, healthcare and social services.
n
Prepare submissions, briefing notes, position papers, consultation responses and advocacy materials.
n
Build and maintain relationships with government, regulators, industry bodies and key external stakeholders.
n
Coordinate stakeholder engagement, meetings, briefs and follow-up actions with senior leaders.
n
Support evidence-based policy development through research, analysis and internal consultation.
n
n
About you
n
A strategic and politically astute policy, government relations or public affairs professional with strong judgement, exceptional writing capability and the confidence to engage senior leaders and external stakeholders. You bring a strong understanding of policy processes, reform environments and regulated sectors, ideally within health, aged care or community services.
n

Senior experience in policy, government relations, public affairs, advocacy or stakeholder engagement.
n
Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality submissions, briefing papers and policy analysis.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement skills across government, regulators, industry and internal leadership groups.
n
Sound understanding of policy,
legislative and regulatory environments affecting complex service organisations.
n
Strong research, communication, influence and judgement skills, with resilience in a fast-moving environment.
n
Tertiary qualifications in public policy, political science, law, economics, communications, business or a related field.
n
