ABOUT THE ROLE
n
Working directly with the CTO, you'll design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions that solve real business problems. As one of the first members of a growing engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to influence architecture, establish engineering standards and mentor junior developers as the team expands.
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
Design, build and support enterprise-grade applications and internal platforms.
n
Develop APIs, automation solutions and business-critical systems.
n
Take solutions from concept through to production.
n
Contribute to architecture, engineering standards and release processes.
n
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
n
Partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts and stakeholders across the business.
n
Ensure solutions meet security, governance and data residency requirements.
n
Collaborate with external vendors and offshore teams.
n
Mentor junior engineers and help build a strong engineering culture.
n
n
KEY REQUIREMENTS
n
n




Hands-on engineer who enjoys solving problems and building quality software.
n
Equally comfortable writing code, influencing architecture and partnering with stakeholders.
n
7+ years' software engineering experience.
n
Strong Node.js and/or Python development skills.
n
Experience building scalable applications, APIs and production-grade systems.
n
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
n
Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins or similar tooling.
n
Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
n
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
n
Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience is highly regarded.
