Managing payroll for 10,000+ employees across multiple sites, awards and employment conditions, this is a role for someone who enjoys complexity and is passionate about people, payroll, governance and continuous improvement.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will:
n
n
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing payroll team.
n
Provide strategic oversight of a complex, multi-site payroll operation.
n
Strengthen governance, compliance, controls and processes.
n
Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and service delivery.
n
Lead audits, reconciliations, reporting and compliance reviews.
n
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.
n
Drive continuous improvement, automation and payroll capability.
n

About You
n
We're looking for an experienced Payroll Leader who has previously managed a large payroll and led teams within a complex environment.
n
You may be a current Payroll Manager, Payroll Operations Manager or Team Leader, or someone successfully operating in an Acting leadership role and ready for the next step.
n
You'll bring:

Strong payroll and Award/EBA knowledge.
n
Experience leading large teams and multi-site payrolls.
n
A strong focus on governance, compliance and risk.
n
A genuine passion for developing and empowering people.
n
The ability to build structure, processes and controls where they are needed.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
n
A continuous improvement mindset and the confidence to challenge the status quo.
