Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy looking for a Building Designer with around 2–5 years' experience to join their Brisbane or Toowoomba team.

Why is this role different?
n
You're not joining a traditional architectural practice or design studio.
n
You'll work alongside Building Designers, Engineers and Project Managers, giving you exposure to the engineering and practical thinking behind good design.
n
You'll work across a diverse mix of industrial, agricultural, processing and commercial projects, ranging from approximately $2M to major developments of $700M+.
n
It's about creating designs that look good, work well and can actually be built.
n
You'll be involved in:

Revit modelling and documentation
n
Building design and detailing
n




Design coordination
n
n
But you won't be expected to stay on the drawing board forever.
n
When your ready; you'll have the chance to take on more responsibility, client interaction, project coordination and eventually project management.
n
About you
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
2–5 years' relevant experience
n
Revit capability
n
A Building Design, Architectural Technology or similar background
n
A practical, problem-solving mindset
n
A desire to learn and progress
n
n
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who's curious about how things actually work and how they're built.
n
