Currently recruiting for casual Support Worker positions
n
Day, Afternoon, Evening & Weekend shift rosters available
n
Various participant locations around the Rockhampton region
n
The role may consist of the following services:
n
Personal care which may including manual handling tasks
n
Meal prep
n
Meal time assistance & PEG Feeding
n
Domestic assistance
n
Lawn and yard maintenance
n
Social and community access
n
In-home support
n
Help support clients to achieve their goals
n
Assist clients with many aspects of life
n
Requirements (or willing to obtain):
n
Driver's license
n
Road worthy,



reliable vehicle
n
Blue Card / Working with Children
n
International Police Check
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
n
First Aid & CPR certificate
n
Vaccinated for COVID-19
n
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
n
Working rights in Australia - Sponsorship is not available
n
Certificate III in Individual Support Disability/Aged Care or related studies (or willing to undertake)
n
Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS system.
n
Sound experience in the disability or allied
health/welfare/education
fields.
n
A minimum of one year's driving experience and a full driving license.
n
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills along with previous experience of interacting with a diverse range of clientele would be highly regarded.
n
This role offers various shifts with adaptable working hours. Current regular casual shifts are available.
n
