Chempro Buranda is looking ahead to **** and seeking a motivated current fourth-year Pharmacy Student who would like to join the team part-time before transitioning into a full-time Intern Pharmacist position following completion of their degree.

The Opportunity
n
Initially joining Chempro Buranda on a part-time basis as a fourth-year Pharmacy Student, you will gain valuable hands‐on community pharmacy experience while completing your university studies.
n
Following successful completion of your pharmacy degree and meeting the applicable requirements for provisional registration with AHPRA, the intention is for you to transition into a full time Intern Pharmacist position.
n
As a Pharmacy Student, you will work alongside registered pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team, assisting with dispensing and general pharmacy activities within the appropriate scope and under pharmacist supervision.
n
As you transition into your internship, your responsibilities and professional development will grow to include:

Preparing and dispensing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
n
Providing medication and OTC counselling under supervision
n
Supporting patient‐centred pharmacy services
n
Developing your clinical and skilled pharmacy skills
n
Working in accordance with relevant legislation and professional guidelines
n
Building relationships with patients and local health professionals
n
Working collaboratively as part of the Chempro Buranda team
n

About You
n
We are looking for someone who is:
n
n
Currently completing the fourth year of an Australian Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent Australian pharmacy qualification
n
Expected to complete their degree in time to commence an internship in ****
n
Eligible to apply for provisional pharmacist registration with AHPRA upon completion of their degree
n
Available to commence part‐time as a Pharmacy Student
n
Interested in transitioning to full‐time employment as an Intern Pharmacist
n
Passionate about patient‐centred community pharmacy
n
A clear and confident communicator
n
Reliable, organised and attentive to detail
n
Eligible to live and work in Australia
n
