What You'll Be Doing
n
Your role will involve a mix of hands‐on boilermaking, fabrication and mechanical installation, including:
n
n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
n
Setting out mechanical items and pipe supports
n
Using laser levels for accurate set‐out
n
Mechanical installation and site fabrication
n
Fabrication and modification of
structural/mechanical
components
n
Stick, MIG and TIG welding in position
n
Oxy cutting and general onsite fabrication
n
Working with and guiding Trade Assistants
n
Assisting with the installation of mechanical equipment and systems
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
Essential:
n
n
Boilermaker trade qualification
n
Relevant industrial/site experience
n
Current driver's licence
n
Ability to read and work from drawings
n
Strong fabrication and welding skills
n
Reliable attitude and ability to work as part of a site team
n
n
Highly regarded:
n
n
EWP ticket
n
Working at Heights
n
Telehandler ticket
n
Mechanical installation experience
n
Experience working on large industrial projects
n
n
