The Role
n
We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Technician/Drafter (temporary works) to join our Adelaide team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and production of various buildings and infrastructure projects across South Australia.
n
Your duties will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
n
n
Drafting and delivery of buildings and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and Revit
n




Ensuring that drafting and drawing review tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and Robert Bird Group
n
Delivering projects under strict timescales, whilst ensuring quality performance meets with Robert Bird Group objectives
n
Liaising with the engineering team, external stakeholders, and clients for project specifications and details
n

About You
n
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Design or equivalent
n
5+ years' senior structural drafting experience working for an engineering design consultancy
n
Strong understanding of AutoCAD and Revit
n
Proven experience in delivering temporary works projects
n
Robust understanding of Australian codes and standards
n
Able to work on own initiative and in a team environment
n
