We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Receptionist to join our team across our busy Brisbane veterinary practices.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, loves animals and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Our reception team plays an important role in creating a positive experience for clients and their pets, while also supporting our vets and nurses throughout the day.

About the role
n
As a Receptionist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
n
n
Welcoming clients and their pets into the practice
n
Answering and managing incoming phone calls and enquiries
n
Booking and coordinating veterinary appointments
n
Checking clients in and out and processing payments
n
Responding to emails and general client enquiries
n
Managing appointment schedules and keeping the reception area organised
n
Assisting with client communication and follow-ups
n
Processing invoices, payments and other administrative tasks
n
Supporting our veterinary nurses, veterinarians and wider team
n
Providing compassionate and skilled service to clients, particularly during more difficult or emotional situations
n
Helping ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently throughout the day
n

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

Friendly, approachable and confident when speaking with clients
n
Well organised and able to multitask in a busy environment
n
Reliable, punctual and willing to be part of a team
n
Calm and professional under pressure
n
Compassionate and understanding towards both clients and their pets
n
Comfortable using computers and learning new practice management systems
n
A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
n
Someone who genuinely enjoys working in the veterinary industry and being around animals
n
Experience in a veterinary clinic or healthcare setting highly regarded
n
