CrewSELECT is currently seeking an experienced Storeman to join a busy switchboard manufacturing workshop based in Bibra Lake. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hands-on candidate looking to secure long-term employment within a well-established workshop setting.

About the Role
n
Working within a switchboard workshop, you will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, moving equipment and materials throughout the workshop, assisting with stock control, and supporting the Workshop Leading Hand with day-to-day operations.
n
This role is suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Unloading deliveries using a forklift
n
Checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery dockets
n
Organising and putting away stock and materials
n
Packing, wrapping, and preparing switchboards for collection and transport
n
Operating gantry cranes to move switchboards throughout the workshop
n




Assisting the Workshop Leading Hand with daily workshop duties
n
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with material control
n
Following up overdue materials and liaising with purchasing when required
n
Maintaining workshop cleanliness and organisation
n
Assisting with general workshop and yard duties as required
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
Previous experience working in a storeman or workshop support role
n
Current Forklift Licence essential
n
Gantry Crane experience essential
n
Dogman or Gantry Crane ticket highly regarded
n
Ability to work safely within an industrial workshop environment
n
Strong organisational and communication skills
n
Reliable work ethic and ability to work within a team
n

$35 - $40/hr depending on experience
n
40-hour week with 9-day fortnight
n
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am-3:00pm

Friday: 6:00am-2:30pm
