Our leading global mining client is proud to be a leading Australian producer of premium quality hard coking coal for export steel markets within Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, with additional joint ventures in steel making coal, copper and magnanese across North West Queensland and Western Australia. With steelmaking coal being an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world, this is an fantastic opportunity to join a leading growing client with a focus on sustainability, innovation and progression within the workforce and supporting local communities.

What You Will Be Doing
n
Operating dragline equipment within an open cut mining environment
n
Conducting pre-start inspections and equipment checks
n
Operating equipment safely and efficiently in line with production requirements
n
Working collaboratively with production crews and supervisors
n
Following all site safety procedures and operational standards
n
Maintaining a strong focus on safe and productive operations
n
What You Will Need
n
Previous open cut mining experience as a Dragline Operator
n
Demonstrated experience operating relevant dragline equipment
n
SSE/Delegate-signed skills list with current and valid competencies
n




Experience operating one or more of the following: Bucyrus ****, Marion ****, Marion ****S
n
Current Standard 11
n
Current Coal Board Medical
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Ability to successfully complete a Drug & Alcohol screening
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
