What You Will Be Doing
n
n
Carrying out blasting activities in accordance with site procedures
n
Preparing, loading, and firing blast patterns safely and efficiently
n
Conducting pre-blast inspections and safety checks
n
Maintaining compliance with all legislative and site requirements
n
Working closely with production and drill and blast teams
n
n
What You Will Need
n
n
Current Queensland Shotfirer's Licence
n
S1, S2 and S3 competencies
n
G8 and G9 competencies or equivalent
n
Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate (SSAN) clearance
n
Previous experience in a coal mining environment
n
Current driver's licence and full Australian working rights
n




Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
n
n
