We're seeking a talented and experienced Seamstress Independent Contractor to partner with our showroom team in delivering exceptional alteration services to our brides. Through referrals from our showroom, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every gown fits flawlessly, helping each bride look and feel her absolute best on one of the most memorable days of her life.

Key Responsibilities
n
Perform high-quality bridal gown alterations and fittings.
n
Conduct alteration appointments with brides, providing qualified advice and recommendations.
n
Pin, alter and finish gowns to an exceptional standard within agreed timeframes.
n
Communicate with the showroom team regarding alteration requirements and timelines.
n
Maintain accurate records of alterations and appointments.
n
Deliver a warm, professional and personalised experience for every bride.
n
About You
n
Previous experience as a bridal or formalwear seamstress is essential
n
Exceptional sewing, fitting and garment alteration skills with strong attention to detail.
n
Confident working independently while collaborating with the showroom team.
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple gowns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
n
A passion for helping brides look and feel their absolute best.
n
Contractor Requirements
n
As this is an independent contractor opportunity, you will be required to have:
n
A current Australian Business Number (ABN).
n
GST registration (where applicable).
n
Public Liability Insurance.
n
Your own equipment and tools required to perform alterations.
n
The ability to invoice for services provided.
