Job Description

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
n
n
Manage nightly resort operations between 9pm - 7am (Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue) with 3 days off together
n
Verify revenue from all sources is accurately balanced, follow up on any discrepancies
n
Post any transactions needed
n
Perform end-of day procedures
n
Produce daily reports for departments and department heads - Compile and run statistical reports for all departments and transfer information to our Accounting department
n
Meet and greet guests as they arrive and complete check in process when required.
n
Carry out nightly property/security checks.
n
Analyse rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count. Monitor selling status of house daily.
n
In conjunction with the Rooms Division Manager, develop, implement and monitor performance standards for operations in the department.
n
Ensure the cleanliness standards of the resort are adhered to.
n
n
We are looking for someone who can quickly establish rapport, stay calm under pressure, and maintain exceptional attention to detail. This is a full-time permanent position working 4 days a week, 10 hr shifts, Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue with three days off each week.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar Night Audit role within a 4-5 star hotel/resort.
n
Availability to work 4 days a week, 10 hr shifts, Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue
n
Demonstrated ability to train, lead and motivate a customer focused team
n
Understanding of budget control and rostering
n
Well presented with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
n
Robust understanding of IT systems and maintenance
n
Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
n
Full availability to work weekends and public holidays
n
Remain calm and effective in emergency and high pressure situations
n
