Warehouse Forklift Operator - Assembly / Maintenance Area

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our client's Assembly / Maintenance team.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with warehouse experience, strong computer skills and experience with inventory / job management systems.
n
About the Role
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Managing BOMs, pick dates and material requirements
n
Booking, issuing, transferring and returning materials
n
Picking, delivering and staging parts throughout the warehouse and assembly / maintenance areas
n
Managing Make to Order and Make to Stock jobs, including labelling and delivery
n
Monitoring jobs, incoming parts and outstanding/missed picks
n
Completing stock counts and resolving incorrect or missing picks
n
Updating non-conformances, IDDs and Job Tracker
n
Maintaining organised WIP areas and returning parts to stock
n




Collecting painted and inspection parts
n
Moving general materials, crates and pallets throughout the facility
n
Picking smaller parts such as nuts, bolts and washers
n
Supporting the warehouse and production teams as required
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous warehouse experience
n
Current Forklift Licence
n
Strong computer skills and experience with inventory systems
n
Valuable attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Self-motivated and proactive
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
n
n
