Combine HR Support, People Engagement and Office Management

Evolution Precast is a leading precast concrete manufacturer delivering major infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and construction projects across NSW, QLD, and VIC. We are seeking an energetic and highly organised HR Administrator & Office Manager to join our Corporate Services team at our Sydney Head Office in Glendenning.

This is a broad and diverse role combining Group-wide HR administration with responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of our Sydney office. We are looking for an all-rounder who enjoys working with people, takes ownership, thrives on variety, and brings the energy and personality to help create a great workplace.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide hands‐on HR administrative support across the Evolution Precast Group while taking responsibility for ensuring our Sydney Head Office runs smoothly and efficiently.
n
From coordinating new starters and maintaining our HR systems to organising contractors, managing office requirements, and arranging team events, this is a role where no two days will be the same.
n
You will work closely with the HR Manager, employees, managers, and the broader Corporate Services team, becoming a trusted point of contact who can take ownership of tasks, solve problems, and make sure things get done.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, pre‐employment requirements, system setup, and employee records.
n
Provide day‐to‐day HR administrative support to the HR Manager and employees across the Evolution Precast Group.
n
Maintain accurate employee information, documentation, and records within Employment Hero and other HR systems.
n
Assist with recruitment administration, employment documentation, probation reviews, training, and employee lifecycle activities.
n
Respond to general HR enquiries and coordinate follow‐up actions with employees and managers.
n
Take responsibility for the smooth day‐to‐day operation and presentation of the Sydney Head Office.
n
Manage incoming calls, visitors, deliveries, general enquiries, and other front‐of‐office activities.
n
Coordinate office repairs, maintenance, contractors, suppliers, and building management.
n
Manage office supplies, stationery, kitchen consumables, equipment, and general workplace requirements.
n
Coordinate morning teas, celebrations, team events, and other activities that contribute to a positive workplace culture.
n
Provide flexible administrative and coordination support to the broader Corporate Services team as required.

About You
n
You are an energetic, approachable, and highly organised HR professional who genuinely enjoys helping people and getting things done.
n
You are comfortable moving between HR administration and office management throughout the day and enjoy being the person others can rely on to coordinate tasks through to completion. You bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate with people at all levels of the business.
n
Just as importantly, you have the personality to make the office a welcoming and enjoyable place to work and are happy to roll up your sleeves when something needs to be organised or resolved.

Skills & Experience
n
Previous experience in HR administration, HR coordination, People & Culture, office management, or a similar role.
n
Practical experience with employee onboarding, offboarding, HR documentation, and employee records.
n
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and approachable manner.
n
High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
n
Strong initiative and a proactive, solutions‐focused approach.
n
Experience coordinating office facilities, contractors, suppliers, and general administration advantageous.
n
Experience using Employment Hero or a similar HRIS highly regarded, although training will be provided.
n
Good Microsoft Office and general systems capability.
n
Qualifications
n
Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline highly regarded.
n
Certificate IV, Diploma, or tertiary qualification in Human Resources advantageous.
n
Relevant practical HR experience will also be strongly considered.
