Join our bakery team at our modern Yatala depot, producing fresh pies, sausage rolls, cakes and slices for our lunch van network.

What's on offer?

$***** per hour casual rate (aged 21+)
n
Monday to Friday
n
5:00am - 1:00pm
n
6-8 hour shifts, 30+ hours per week
n

Your role:
n
n
Reliability and commitment - essential and valued

Prepare and weigh ingredients
n
Assist with cake preparation and high volume bakery production
n
Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
n
Assist with stock handling and general bakery duties
n

Passion for food, baking or cooking
n
A proactive and hardworking attitude
n
Excellent reliability and commitment - We're looking for someone seeking a long-term chance who takes pride in turning up and being part of the team
n
Flexible team player willing to support bakery, food production and warehouse teams if required
n
Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg, with the ability to stand for extended periods
n
Prior experience in a commercial bakery environment is advantageous
n
Understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
n
n
Please note: This role involves working with meat, dairy and gluten-based products and commercial bakery equipment in a warm production environment.
n
Food aromas can be strong and may not suit those with sensitivities to food smells.
