The Opportunity
n
We are seeking experienced FIFO Civil Construction Supervisors to join high-performing project teams delivering civil infrastructure works across Queensland mining and resources operations. This is an opportunity for hands-on leaders who can safely coordinate crews, plant, subcontractors and daily work fronts while driving quality, productivity and positive site culture.

Multiple opportunities are available for supervisors with strong backgrounds in bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, concrete, mine infrastructure, haul roads, pads, services and associated civil construction packages.
n
About the Role
n
n
FIFO role servicing Queensland mining and resources projects.
n
Roster options may include 14/7, 2:1 or project-specific rotations.
n
Flights, accommodation and meals provided while on site.
n
Lead daily civil construction activities in operational mine and resources environments.
n
Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, client representatives and site leadership teams.
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise day-to-day civil construction work fronts, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
n
Coordinate labour, plant, materials, subcontractors and site resources to support programme delivery.
n
Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, risk assessments and safety observations.
n
Monitor productivity,



quality, environmental controls and compliance with site procedures.
n
Lead, mentor and motivate crews to maintain a strong safety-first culture.
n
Liaise with clients, engineers and project teams to resolve issues and keep works progressing.
n
Maintain accurate daily records, progress reports and site documentation.
n

About You
n
n
Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar within mining, resources, civil infrastructure or major construction projects.
n
Strong working knowledge of bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, concrete, pads, services or mine civil infrastructure.
n
Demonstrated ability to lead crews, manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts.
n
Solid safety leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
n
Current Australian driver licence.
n
Relevant tickets, permits and site inductions will be highly regarded, including Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, Supervisor competencies, First Aid and Civil Construction qualifications.
