Job Description
An established property development and civil infrastructure company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team and take responsibility for the final stages of a major industrial development in Western Sydney.

This is a 5-month contract opportunity focused on driving the project through completion, managing outstanding works and ensuring a smooth pathway to the Occupation Certificate (OC).
n
The Role you will take ownership of the final delivery and close-out phase of the project. Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the completion and close-out of outstanding defects
n
Overseeing outstanding sewer and infrastructure works
n
Managing contractors, consultants and relevant authorities
n
Tracking outstanding works against programme and key milestones
n
Resolving issues that could impact practical completion or OC
n
Driving the project through final completion and obtaining the Occupation Certificate
n
Providing regular progress updates to senior stakeholders
n

Driving the project through final completion and obtaining the Occupation Certificate
n
Providing regular progress updates to senior stakeholders

About You
n
To be successful, you will ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Project Manager delivering industrial, commercial or large-scale construction projects
n
Solid experience in the completion, defects and handover stages of projects
n
Experience coordinating civil, infrastructure and public domain works
n
A strong understanding of the Occupation Certificate process
n
Excellent contractor, consultant and stakeholder management skills
n
The ability to step into an existing project and quickly take ownership
n
Availability to commit to an initial 5-month contract
n
n
