Egan Electrical Industries is looking for a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our growing Brisbane-based team.
n
This role is ideal for an apprentice who wants more than just turning up and following instructions. We want to help you develop into a confident service electrician who can communicate with customers, diagnose faults, quote work and eventually run jobs independently.
n
You'll work across Brisbane completing a wide variety of residential maintenance, real estate and light commercial electrical work.
n
As your skills develop, we'll train you in quoting, customer service and job management, giving you the opportunity to take greater responsibility and increase your earning potential through performance incentives.

About the role

What you'll be doing
n

Residential electrical maintenance and service work
n




Fault finding and electrical repairs
n
Switchboard upgrades and electrical installations
n
Real estate and property maintenance
n
Light commercial maintenance
n
Communicating professionally with customers
n
Assisting with quoting and presenting options to customers
n
Progressively learning to manage jobs from start to finish
n
n
About you
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Is currently a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
n
Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in their work
n
Is reliable and punctual
n
Communicates well with customers and the team
n
Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
n
Wants to improve their technical and customer service skills
n
Is motivated to take on more responsibility as they progress
n
Holds a current driver's licence
n
n
Experience in residential maintenance or service work is highly regarded, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are more important.
n
