Prahran Market, Melbourne's premier food market, is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse range of high-quality produce. We are a community hub, fostering a passion for food and culture. As we embark on a new vision and strategy, we are in a phase of transition aimed at remaining relevant and increasing foot traffic. We are seeking a creative and energetic Social Media & Digital Marketing Associate to join our dedicated team and help us amplify our brand online. This is a full time position (four weekdays + one weekend day) based on-site at the Prahran Market.

Key responsibilities

Capture the energy and experience of Prahran Market through engaging content
n
Shoot and edit photos and videos for social media channels
n
Manage TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook profiles
n
Schedule and post content to maintain a consistent online presence
n
Ensure the content is vibrant, contemporary, and exciting,



reflecting the market's fresh and dynamic environment
n
Highlight traders fairly across social media platforms using trader audit tracker
n
Update website content, including trader profiles, recipe pages, and campaign pages
n
Ensure SEO best practices are followed to enhance website visibility
n
Create and send engaging newsletters and promotional emails using MailChimp
n

About you

Analyse social media and website metrics to gauge content performance
n
Collaborate with the Head of Experience to adjust strategies based on data insights
n
Provide monthly reports on social media performance
n
Use master content planners and social planners to organise and schedule content
n
Refer to marketing calendars and strategic plans to align with broader marketing strategies
n
