About the Role
n
Casey Smiles is seeking an experienced and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team on a part time basis at our practice in Cranbourne, VIC.
n
This is an important front-of-house role within our practice. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional and positive patient experience.
n
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and experienced in dental reception, with a strong understanding of the day-to-day operations of a busy dental practice.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional first impression
n
Managing patient appointments, bookings, cancellations and recalls
n
Answering and managing incoming phone calls and patient enquiries
n
Processing payments, health fund claims and patient accounts
n
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
n
Providing patients with clear information regarding appointments, treatment and payment options
n
Liaising closely with dentists, dental assistants and the wider team
n
Managing daily appointment books and ensuring the practice runs efficiently
n
Following up patients and outstanding treatment as required
n
Maintaining confidentiality and complying with practice policies and procedures
n
Supporting the team with general administrative duties
n
Providing exceptional customer service throughout the patient journey
n

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience working as a dental receptionist – essential
n
Experience working in a busy dental practice
n




Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and item numbers
n
Experience with dental practice management software
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A confident and professional telephone manner
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
The ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
n
A professional, friendly and positive approach to patients and team members
n
Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
n
The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member
