About the Role
n
An exciting prospect exists for an experienced SAP Finance Lead (FICO) to join a major mining organisation undergoing a large-scale Divestment Program. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the SAP Finance workstream and ensuring successful delivery across design, build, testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities.
n
Working within a complex multi-vendor environment, you will collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and functional leads to ensure seamless separation and transition of finance processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the end-to-end SAP FICO workstream across design, build, testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare phases.
n
Own Finance workstream planning, execution, governance, risk management, and issue resolution.
n
Engage with senior stakeholders and facilitate workshops, steering committees, and governance discussions.




n
Coordinate finance-related activities across data migration, integrations, reporting, and testing teams.
n
Support SIT, UAT, deployment readiness, and cutover planning activities.
n
Manage and coordinate offshore delivery teams, ensuring quality outcomes and adherence to timelines.
n
Drive finance process readiness and business adoption throughout the program lifecycle.
n

Required Experience
n
n
10+ years of SAP FICO consulting and delivery experience.
n
Demonstrated experience leading SAP Finance workstreams within divestment, carve-out, merger, acquisition, or separation programs.
n
Strong expertise across:
n
SAP FI/CO
n
General Ledger (GL)
n
Accounts Payable (AP)
n
Accounts Receivable (AR)
n
Asset Accounting
n
Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation and integration initiatives.
n
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments is highly regarded.
n
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
