About the Role
n
We are currently seeking an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join a busy fabrication workshop based in Eastern Creek.
n
Working with mild steel, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components for a variety of projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This opportunity is based in a brand-new state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern fabrication equipment and excellent working conditions.
n
Duties Include
n
n
MIG and TIG welding on mild steel components
n
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans
n
Operating fabrication equipment including grinders, cutters and welding machinery
n
Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy
n
Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
n
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area
n
n




Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
n Friday: 6:00am - 12:00pm
n
To Be Successful You Will Have
n
n
Previous MIG & TIG welding experience
n
Experience working with mild steel fabrication
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
Trade qualification or relevant industry experience preferred
n
Forklift Licence or Overhead Crane experience highly regarded
n
