We're partnering with a well-established organisation looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to help build, automate and improve its Azure cloud setting.
n
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, improving cloud engineering practices and creating secure, scalable platforms through automation.
n
What you'll be doing
n
Designing, building and supporting scalable infrastructure across Microsoft Azure
n
Automating cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code, ideally Bicep or Terraform
n
Building and improving CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
n
Engineering Azure networking solutions across VNets, subnets, routing, private endpoints, firewalls and connectivity
n
Improving the security, reliability, scalability and performance of the Azure environment
n
Developing reusable infrastructure modules, deployment patterns and engineering standards
n
Troubleshooting complex cloud, deployment and networking issues
n
Working closely with engineering, architecture, security and operations teams
n
Mentoring other engineers and helping uplift DevOps and cloud engineering capability
n
What we're looking for
n




Strong commercial experience engineering and supporting Microsoft Azure environments
n
Advanced Infrastructure as Code experience using Bicep or Terraform
n
Strong knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, routing, private endpoints, DNS and hybrid connectivity
n
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tooling
n
Strong understanding of Azure identity, security, governance and monitoring
n
Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Azure CLI or similar
n
A robust troubleshooting mindset and the ability to work across complex cloud environments
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
n
Previous experience operating at a senior engineering level
