The Team Leader provides strategic planning, operational management, and clinical leadership within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Rehabilitation Response Team service

The Role

An prospect has become available for a Team Leader (Rehabilitation Response Team)to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
n
Please note: This role can also be filled by a Nurse Manager – Team Leader or an Occupational Therapist -Team Leader, Physiotherapist - Team Leader, Psychologist - Team Leader, Social Worker - Team Leader Speech Pathologist - Team Leader as per attached Role Descriptions

You will
n
n
Apply advanced clinical knowledge and skills in the assessment of rehabilitation inpatients
n
Act as a resource for advanced consultation and advice on the delivery of rehabilitation therapy and planning of treatment
n
Influence clinical practice through leading clinical governance systems and processes
n
Demonstrate high-level managerial knowledge and skills to provide operational management
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this position you will require:
n
n
Possession of a tertiary degree in an Allied Health profession – Refer to Role Description
n
AHPRA Registration
n
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
n
Tuberculosis screening,



to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
Driver Licence
n
Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
n
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Flexible work options
